Polish Parliament to deal with draft regulations on medical marijuana and cannabis cultivation along with counteracting drug addiction

At the first session of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) in 2022, on 12-13 of January, there will be the first reading of the draft law amending the Law on Counteracting Drug Addiction and certain other acts. The project envisages allowing the cultivation of non-fibrous hemp for the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and also provides the Minister of Health with the grounds to include prescription medicines manufactured from non-fibrous hemp in the reimbursement.
