Distribution of the budget for medicinal products reimbursement

The draft regulation of the Ministry of Health amending the regulation on the distribution of financial resources in 2019 which form an increase in the total budget for reimbursement was published on the 12th of April 2019.

The change relates to the planned allocation of part of the funds from the general reserve included in the financial plan of the National Health Fund for 2019, for financing medicinal products under the new medication programs.

The draft regulation established the amount of financial resources allocated for financing in 2019 so far non-reimbursed medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional purposes, medical devices which do not have their substitutes reimbursed in a given indication, in the amount of PLN 253 468 000.
